France wanted to take over where the swan colony was made and the only way that
the British empire could keep the land was to create a colony there and that is
what they did In 1832, the colony
was officially renamed Western Australia
When the swan river colony first started out there was a large
amount of people come to start anew and the swan river colony was overwhelmed
then there was too little people coming because they did want to do all the
hardships to make the swan river colony a success
